ASHRAE's HVAC&R Information
The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) information collection.
Building Energy Tools Directory
Information on hundreds of software tools - from research grade software to commercial products with thousands of users - including where you can get them.
Building Envelopes
An online resource providing state-of-the-art information on innovation in advanced facades, heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting systems to support preliminary design of energy-efficient buildings. A worldwide consortium of professionals, universities, and research organizations support this effort and provide information for the site.
Building Technologies Related Web Sites
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - Building Technologies Department, collection of related web sites grouped in buildings-related, windows & glazing, energy-related, and international resources.
Civil Engineering Directory
TenLinks.com is based on the simple principal that ten links picked by experts is far more valuable than ten thousand picked by the typical search engine.
Construction IT Links
List of bookmarks on Construction Information Technology.
DOE (US Department of ENergy) Information Bridge

Provides the open source to full-text and bibliographic records of Department of Energy (DOE) research and development reports in physics, chemistry, materials, biology, environmental sciences, energy technologies, engineering, computer and information science, renewable energy, and other topics.
The Information Bridge consists of full-text documents produced and made available by the Department of Energy National Laboratories and grantees from 1995 forward. Additional legacy documents are also included as they become available in electronic format.

The US Department of Energy gateway to hundreds of Web sites and thousands of online documents on energy efficiency and renewable energy.
HVAC/R Sites
This list has been contributed to the web by the Usenet group Sci.Engr.Heat-Vent-AC. In terms of contents very similar to HVACR Resources above, and thus contains links to lots of interesting information regarding heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration.
IBPSA - International Building Performance Simulation Association
IBPSA - Nederland + Vlaanderen
IEA - International Energy Agency
The IEA Home Page, or go direct to the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme, or to the Energy Conservation in Buildings and Community Systems Programme.
LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
The LEED  Green Building Rating System™ is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. Members of the U.S. Green Building Council representing all segments of the building industry developed LEED and continue to contribute to its evolution.
Mechanical Engineering Software Archive
A service of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Meteorological Office
Global weather services from the UK, with links to other weather sites on the Web.
Process Engineering Tools
A collection of process engineering tools categorized as basics ( conversion factors, dimensionless numbers, pipe properties, tube properties, etc), fluid flow and hydraulics ( single phase pressure drop in piping, pipe sizing for single phase incompressible flow, etc), heat transfer ( heat exchanger tube side heat transfer coefficient, heat exchanger inlet/outlet temperature prediction, thermal efficiency of gas fired heaters, etc), physical properties ( heat of combustion of fuel gas, etc), and various other categories. There is a warning stating that most of the tools are NOT suitable for real-life plant operation and/or design purposes. They are meant as a teaching aid for chemical engineering students and should not be used without applying careful and sound engineering judgement.
Sustainable Building Sourcebook
A wealth of information (and interesting links) on sustainable construction techniques and materials covering sections such as energy, building materials, water and solid waste.
