Exercise 9

Instruction:

-    Open your own model from exercise 8. Perform the energy simulation for typical summer and winter week.  

   (refer to the on-line tutorial, or in-built help facilities)

Assignment:

• Report the hours at which one of your windows will receive direct solar radiation, chose one day of your winter week.
• Assign a control strategy and scheduled internal heat gains and ventilation rates according to the function of your building.
• Report the annual energy consumption, maximum cooling and heating demand.
• Report PPD value for the hottest day at noon and the coldest day in the morning.
